Fri. July 23rd

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, since August. 2006

It was warm and humid overnight with a very heavy rainfall, huge puddles all over the park. With temperatures in the 90'sf (34c plus),warm winds and overcast skies, for the most it was a nice summer day. After a walkabout, and ride around the resort we puttered around for a while. We were able to sit outside and read, then chatted with a new neighbor for a while. Mid afternoon we had a visit from the honey wagon to pump out our waste water tanks, there is no sewer hook-ups where we choose to park. As the day progressed the campground continued to fill up, not many empty sites now.

Then supper was a delicious light supper of garlic butter tilapia (fish), rice pilaf and more fresh sweet asparagus.

Strange Canadian Laws
If you ran out of gas in Fahler Alberta, 1954 you couldn't fill up at just any gas station. Only one gas station was allowed to remain open and it was different one every sunday they all took their turn each week.
