Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

home for two weeks
A great nights sleep and up to see the sunrise behind us over the hill. Perfectly clear cloudless blue skies and fresh dry air. Trees, mountains and ponds to view as well.

I went for a bit of a walkabout to explore and the scenery with the early morning sunrise made the ponds, with ducks, geese and cranes so tranquil. Even the heated pool and hot tub was inviting, but the air was too cool yet for my liking.

Well with that bit of exploring taken care of I decided it was time to give our interior windows and mirrors a good cleaning. With the dryer climate here there is less chance of windows steaming and we don't have the problem with flies marking them all up. After this I went to the Ace Hardware in Benson to have a new piece of plexiglass cut for our screen door. The other piece was broken in Grove Oklahoma when a strong wind caught the door and the already cracked piece shattered. Back home I trimmed it to fit and installed it. Now we can keep our outside open in almost any weather or remove if we like for more fresh air.

With the nice afternoon sun and no wind we were able to enjoy a book outside, chat with some neighbours and Suzie even helped Clare with her computer, trying to sign into the Resorts of Distinction website to make reservations. With this sunny day its nice to enjoy the area, the resort and relax a bit from traveling.

Then a nice supper of left over broasted and BBQ'd chicken, coleslaw, rice pilaf and a tossed salad.

 Life is good.
