Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

A big change in the temperature, overnight it was very warm and humid, windows open and no blankets on the bed, thats more like it! But for the rest of the day the temperature stayed the same, around 75f (25c) overcast and trying to rain.

Morning coffees, and walkabout by the lake was nice, and stopped to say goodbye to John and Dian as they were getting ready to hit the road towards New Orleans.

I can imagine that this area would be extremely busy in the summer months with all the water activities available, even the pool with water slides and hot tub (not open yet), and the nice cabins on the water to rent.
nice cabins
Well again a nice peaceful day of puttering around, walkabouts, chatting, computing, read a bit and to get outside a bit more I bucket washed one half of our coach. No vehicle washing in the resort, that means not water hose, so I put a some water in a bucket and use a wet cloth to clean off the dirt and wipe dry. It works well, just takes longer and uses less water. But I did manage to work this time consuming project into my busy day.

Then before we knew it was 4:30 and it had really not rained all day so I hooked up the barbie and turned it on. Two minutes later we had a huge downpour of rain! But this lasted about 5 mintues, then stopped and the sun came out. So we cooked up our last Peameal Canadian Bacon Roast (EH!!). This is the real deal, one thing that we like to stock up with when we head south for the winter. This was done to perfection on the barbie along with sweet canned white corn and creamy mashed potatoes.
soo tasty
Now we have some leftover back bacon for yummy sandwiches.
