A fun unrainy day, but Jack Frost was here, guess we best get going soon.

Where are we today?
Yep it was cold this morning, Jack Frost made his presence know thats for sure. Frosty and cold out side, but again saved by our Mr. Heater, we toasty warm. Got the morning coffees and computing done, then a walkabout the yard for some exercise and fresh air.
Lots the artwork from the morning frost, just don't much like the cold. That a good sign that we need to hit the road soon.
the car roof beautiful
yep its icey
our cactus it wanting get back to Arizona soon!
love the colors changing on some of the trees
my early morning shadow
First project of today was to take our laundry to New Hamburg and get our clothes all clean before we hit the road on Wednesday. Back home had a bite for lunch then Suzie off to visit her Gramma at the nursing home in Tavistock, she is adjusting pretty well.
While she was gone I put away our Weber Q and topped up our fresh water tank and got a few things done.
She was back home in time for us to head to the Trails Edge in town and meet up with daughter number 2 and family to celebrate Grandson number 1's birthday with a tasty meal and birthday gift for him. His birthday is not for another month, we will not be here, but like he said back in 2006 "see you after Christmas when the snow is gone" and we will. We had a great get together and very tasty meal. My favourite suicide chicken wings, celery, carrots blue cheese dip and cold beer. He had a homemade burger and fries and Suzie a Cheesey Chicken Fusili and caesar salad all very tasty.
After supper back home to visit for bit with our hosts John and Lea just to thank them for our site at "Camp Awesome". They head back to work tomorrow so may not see them too much before we leave.
of course while visiting Suzie got her
doggie fix again
Not wanting to overstay our welcome, we headed back home to view another wonderful moonrise in the trees outside our patio. Soon be halloween!
That was it, another day just passed us by, but fun again.
Thanks for stopping in again and hope you had a nice warm, sunny unrainy day too.

  3. Definitely time to be heading south. Scraping ice is not a "thing" I want to do. Have fun packing it all up. And be safe.

  6. It's funny, you're thinking it's getting too cold and you may need to start heading south. We're wayyyyy further south of you and are thinking the same thing! We may be seeing some frost later this week here in Georgia.

  9. Soon that frost will be just memories for you, sounded like a nice birthday celebration for your grandson. The wings sure looked and sounded good. Like your travel plan of just taking your time, sure makes for a better trip. Looking forward to following along always find the places you pick to stop interesting to see.
